The Devastator Thresher is a variant of the Cabal Thresher gunship outfitted with undercarriage Rocket Launchers.

Overview

Devastator Threshers are functionally identical to normal Threshers. The main difference is they can also fire small salvos of Arc Rockets in addition to their main weapon.

Gameplay

Devastator Threshers are encountered in many Cabal-related activities. After first flying in, they hover in place in the air, bombarding the players with their weapons. These can be highly lethal, especially on high difficulties. Threshers are also highly resilient, and don't offer a weak spot unlike Goliath Tanks. However, on many occasions it is not necessary to destroy a Thresher, and they can be ignored to proceed further. When they have to be destroyed, heavy ordnance like a Drake Tank is usually offered. Alternatively, explosive weapons like Rocket Launchers are preferable.

Trivia

• Unlike normal Cabal Cluster Missiles, the Rockets do not apply slowness or blindness. They just hurt a lot.
