Valus Tau'ugh is a high-ranking Cabal Colossus who can be encountered in the Hull Breach on the Dreadnaught after activating the Skyburners Command Beacon. He is referred to as the Cabal's Champion.

Gameplay[edit]

To summon Valus Tau'ugh, players must activate the Skyburners Command Beacon at the terminal within the hangar of the crashed Dantalion Exodus VI. Doing this will trigger a message, reading "the Cabal summon a recon team...", and a group of Major Fleet Legionaries led by Ve'ength will arrive. Killing the Centurion will summon the Cabal champion. Tau'ugh has a large amount of health and he and his reinforcements can take out players very quickly if they are not prepared. Like other Colossi, he comes equipped with a Heavy Slug Thrower, capable of rapidly firing bullets with a large degree of accuracy, quickly draining your health and killing you if you do not find cover. He is also capable of launching a salvo of Cluster Missiles from his back, which will home in on his enemies. If a player were to get too close, Tau'ugh will unleash a stomp attack that will launch you backward, while also dealing immense damage. It is recommended that anyone who attempts to take on bring a fireteam if their weapons and gear are not a high enough Light level. Upon being killed, the champion will drop the Skyburners Deployment Codes and award the Cabal Champions Grimoire Card.

Trivia[edit]

  • Tau'ugh lacks a crest on his helmet; a distinct feature which is present on most other members of the Skyburners, including Colossi.
