Wellkeeper Knights are a Major variant of Hive Knights employed by the Lucent Brood to defend the Wreckage from the incursion of a Guardian Fireteam.

Gameplay

Wellkeeper Knights appear during the second encounter of the Ghosts of the Deep Dungeon, the battle against Ecthar, Shield of Savathûn. After the Vestiges of Light of all the Lightbearer Wizards have been deposited, Ecthar will emerge from the deep and a Wellkeeper Knight will appear. Killing the Wellkeper will create a Well of energy where it was slain, which allows the fireteam to damage Ecthar while drawing on its power. Quickly slaying the Wellkeeper Knight is thus crucial to maximize the damage that can be dealt to the boss.
