Yragur was originally an unnamed Wizard, they were used as a ritual sacrifice by Hive loyal to the Witness that transformed her into an Evocator. Following the fall of Witness, she would seek out Nessius rather than follow the Echoes.

"Ambition", "Salvation", "Peace", "Relief". Yragur remembers these words, her Witness used them. Its hypocrisy now lies broken, the memory within scattered as fragments.

Choice is something that cannot be suppressed. I am Yragur. I remember. I will make my own choices.

Who I was is gone. Who I am now is what matters. Who I choose to be is what I must.

I was sacrificed to a false god, who carved me into this shape.

A Heretic. The Sword Logic is the way of the Deep.

Not of my Witness.

I am whole with "Uncle" Ixis, if one could consider calling him that.

I do for that is how family works… what is family? I am not sure, but this feeling… It is home.

I am home, safe…

I belong.

This feeling… it is Joy.

Yragur looks forward to her newfound peace. One that she will protect with her life.

The War God will not control her, nor will the Witch Queen. She is free to be who she wants.

To be who she was under the Witness was fatal. Who she can be now is true living.
