The Onager is a class of Hive siege engine created and utilized by the Weavers of Sorrow. These tank like vehicles were built by the Weavers as a means to create a new type of siege weapon that could easily match the power of a Cabal Goliath Tank. These weapons were first seen in use by the Weavers during their siege of the Last City.

GameplayEdit

Onagers are often dropped from a Shadowrift into the field and will often kill anything that stands within the circle by dropping onto them. Its primary modes of firing would be its Ripper Repeater turrets and Siege Breaker Cannon, the former firing like Acolyte Rippers at a faster rate with the latter being akin to the cannons used by Fallen Walkers and Goliath Tanks.

In addition to its main weapons, it is also capable of firing a swarm of Solar Axion Darts after charging for a short amount of time that can home in on enemies and unleash a devastating blast of Solar energy. When getting close to the Omager, it will discharge shockwave Booster Charge which will knock enemies away from it. Whenever an Onager is defeated, it will begin to glow a bright blue and will detonate a Screaming Discharge that will either kill or severely wound any enemies in its blast radius.

A unique variant of the Onager, known as the Resonant Onager was developed by Shin'ra following his ascension as a Disciple. This unique variant distinguishable by its black and dark green coloration, reinforced with Pyramid shielding and a sigil of Disciple Shin'ra on its forward aft.
