Dredges serve as standard infantry units within the Dread created from transformed Hive, created by Shin'ra from the usage of the Echo of Conquests.

Gameplay

The Dredge function similarly to Hive Acolytes, commonly hiding behind cover and occasionally pop out to target enemies with their Cascading Mandolin, which serves as a burst fire rifle that can track targets. Dredges are not moderately armored due to them serving as standard infantry amongst the Dread like Weavers and Attendants. Dredges are highly maneuverable but deadly in large groups because of this. Dredges are also capable of firing three Seeking Axions, which function similarly to Axion Darts of Taken Centurions and Solar Seekers of high ranking Psions. These bolts will make their enemies volatile, pairing with their Cascading Mandolin, can unleash a devastating Void blast and could easily kill their enemies.
