Ta'nam is warrior of the Imperial Cabal. She is descended from a long lineage of warriors, who passed down a ritual knife for so long it had become rusted with time. During her travel to the Sol System aboard the Barbatos Rex, she spent the days sparring ferociously with other warriors. One day her father, Valus Cau'tor, organized a meeting with her and a Psion. The latter projected them into the memories of Torobatl imprinted within the blade, as a last reminder of the home they lost. At the end of the projection, Cau'tor dismissed the Psion, then broke the blade into pieces, to remind himself and his daughter that home was no more, and the future lies ahead. Ta'nam asked her father if he feared the warriors of Sol, and he responded he did not, because his daughter's insatiable blade was by his side.
