Cabal Severi are paired cleavers employed by Gladiators.
Overview
Gladiators will attempt to cut up Guardians with these blades. They are dual-wielded and Solar-powered, enabling them to inflict serious pain with every strike. Calus uses a variant of Severi filled with resonant energy occupying the various Disciples of the Witness during phase 2 of the fight against him.
Trivia
- Gladiators and their variants are the only enemies seen wielding these weapons.
- Cabal Severus used by Ceremonial Bathers has a unique appearance to them, having a sort of "Cleaver"-like appearance.
- This is the second sword used by common enemy troops against Guardians.
- Dominus Ghaul's Solar Slicer attack uses Severi as his equivalent of the Dawnblade sword.
- During the Destiny 2 Beta, the Severus inflicted burn along with it's devastating damage.
- Various Severi can be seen inside the Halphas Electus, littered in the floor during the fight with Ignovun, Chosen of Caiatl.
