The Collapse is a event in human history that nearly brought the species to extinction. Following the Golden Age after mankind had colonized the Sol System, a unknown enemy attacked humanity and pushing it back to it's homeworld, Earth. This eventually lead to mankind to extinction if it wasn't for the intervention of the Traveler. As the Collapse ended, mankind eventually recovered only to find it's former colonies inhabited by new species and enemies. [1]
