Kalsis, the Zealous is a Fallen Marauder working with Kelziks, Splicer Priest as their chief assistant. They serve as the final line of defense against The Guardian before Kelziks, in the Pawn-Maker Mission.
Biography
Kalsis was originally a part of the House of Winter, but after the death of Draksis he fled to the Moon and joined the House of Exile. He would observe the Devil Splicers use of SIVA in their efforts to raid the Hellmouth of Hive test subjects and would be captivated by it. He would remain on the Moon until just prior to the Red War, when he and many other Fallen would form the House of Dusk. Soon after he would meet a former Devil Splicer, Kelziks, and the two would begin searching the system for SIVA. Starting with the Cosmodrome, they attempted to enter the Plaguelands, but fled after they were almost found by Vanguard forces.
Raid on the Tower
Kalsis would eventually align with Eramis with Kelziks and participated in the raid on the old Tower lead by Siriks, Loyal to Eramis in an attempt to claim the Outbreak Perfected. They and their crew would flee after Siriks was defeated by the Guardians.
House of Salvation
Kalsis would appear on Europa now a part of the House of Salvation. Due to Kelziks' past he would be assigned as part of the House's science division and Kalsis would follow him, becoming his personal assistant. They would find a few SIVA nanites in the ruins of Eventide and begin attempting to reactivate them. While conducting an experiment with SIVA in Riis-Reborn, he and Kelziks would be interrupted by the the Guardian after they received a tip from Variks. He and Kelziks would escape as the Guardian fought off their guards. Variks would attempt to track their whereabouts but would lose their trail.

Gameplay
Kalsis behaves exactly like a normal Marauder, shooting the player from range with their Shrapnel Launcher and using their invisibility to get behind the player while they are distracted by other enemies. Sporadically, Kalsis will throw a SIVA Nanite Grenade that detonates on impact and leaves behind a lingering swarm of SIVA nanites.
