Gladiator

The Gladiator is a type of Cabal elite warrior.

Overview

Gladiators are massive, heavily armored warriors who will not hesitate to cut all of their opponents down using their Cabal Severus. They are very fast, and will relentlessly charge down their foes until they get close enough to kill them.

Gameplay

Gladiators are some of the most dangerous Cabal enemies, namely for their thick armor, rapid movement, high-damage cleavers, and charge ability. They will attempt to charge their opponents with ferocious speed, intending to slaughter and cut them down. Guardians should face Gladiators from a distance at all cost, and avoid their charge ability. Gladiators also have jump jets, and can boost into the air toward a Guardian at random.

Trivia

• During the development of Destiny, Colossi were originally called Gladiators.
• The Gladiator's function as a melee fighter is very similar to the Hive Knights, who bear Cleavers, as is their tendency to charge into melee combat.
