Mars is the fourth planet in the Solar System. Like the rest of the Solar System, it is littered with ruins from humanity's golden age. It is known that there is a Cabal presence on this planet, as they have control of the Exclusion Zone.[1] There is some degree of conflict on it as humanity tries to reclaim its former glory. A thriving metropolis once dominated the skyline of Mars, a bastion of human life in the red dunes. That city now lies buried beneath a mountain of sand, and only the once-soaring skyscraper peaks are visible. Guardians can climb into those upper windows and delve down toward what was once ground level. Along the way, you're likely to see the heavily entrenched armies of the Cabal blocking your way. The Vex are also at odds with the Cabal, and it won't be unusual to see the two forces in combat with one another.[2]
