Howlers (also known as Stasis Boomers[1]) are a variant of the Taken Boomer that allows wielders to use the power of Stasis.
Overview
Howlers look similar to Taken Boomers, but their corrupted starfire cores have seemingly been replaced with Stasis cores, causing the weapons to grow frozen spikes along its barrel's length. Howlers are rare weapons, usually found in the hands of high ranking Taken Acolytes and Taken Knights. Overload Taken Hobgoblins can also wield the weapon.
