The Echo of Conquests within Shin'ra's palm

The Echo of Conquests is an artifact that was released from within the Traveler following the destruction of the Witness. Like the other Echoes, it is believed to be a memory or psychic imprint of a species that was conquered and destroyed by the Witness and its Black Fleet, preserved in the Darkness and made manifest through the Light. In the case of the Echo of Conquests, it was created from the memories of the Nadheal species. It was originally discovered by Tazcrakhan and later used by Shin'ra during the War of the Weavers. It was eventually destroyed by the efforts of the Guardians but fragments of it would be sought after by the forces of the Golden Legion.

Description

The Echo appears to be a triangular crystal that is illuminated by silica colors, which its shape resembling the portal of the Pale Heart. It was initially held in a studded amulet embedded within Shin'ra's palm. When he transformed into his Worm God form, the Echo's size would increase and replace his central eye. The Echo allows the user to create nearly anything by using both the powers of Light and Darkness. Shin'ra would use the Echo to create the Forged Pyramid along with new forces of the Dread, and would later use the Echo to open a massive rift from his throne world above Earth.
