The Radial Mast was a paracausal artifact built by the Witness. It was intended to form a faster-than-light connection between the Traveler and the Veil so that the Witness could open a portal into the Pale Heart and enact its Final Shape. It was utilized by Emperor Calus and his Shadow Legion in their assault on Neomuna, seeking to bring it within range of the Veil and link it to the Traveler.
