However, as the event is timed, if the players aren't able to kill her in time she will despawn and force them to restart.

"My son Crota came to me, saying / This nameless thing moves sideways / I chased her, and she fled / Kill her now / So I raised her to my court / I named her Lokaar, which means Not There / Thus my son was rebuked against simplicity."
Oryx, the Taken King

Lokaar is a Hive Wizard that appears as a boss in the Court of Oryx, having joined and named by Oryx for evading the wrath of his son Crota after an attempt on his consort Omnigul's life.

Biography

At some point, Lokaar, an unnamed Wizard at the time, attempted to assassinate Omnigul, Crota's Will and consort to increase her own power. However, the attempt had failed and enraged Crota, Son of Oryx; leading him to attempt to kill her in retaliation. She escaped him using her teleportation to evade his wrath. Crota came up to the King over the situation and wanted him to kill her, but Oryx, the Taken King was impressed by Lokaar's ability. Instead she was placed on his Court and named as "Lokaar", which meant "Not There." This would rebuke Crota's hopes in Lokaar's death against what Oryx labeled as Simplicity.

Lokaar was present with the Court of Oryx when the Gift Mast was destroyed and when Oryx's throne world was moved to the Dreadnaught.

Later during the events of the Taken War, Lokaar was summoned onto the Dreadnaught within Hall of Souls and was challenged by The Guardian, who was patrolling within the ship. Despite her teleporting abilities and waves of Hive at her disposal, she was killed by The Guardian, removing a champion from Oryx's Court.
