The Harvester is a troop carrier that is used by the Cabal.[2] The Red Legion uses more advanced Harvester variants known as Threshers.

Overview

Unlike Skiffs, Ketches and Tombships, Harvesters cannot teleport; to make up for this they can move at extremely fast speeds as they drop down from low orbit to the surface of planets in a couple of seconds. It is accompanied by a boom with which they kick up dust storms and maneuver through ruined cities. They are armed with a single Solar cannon on the nose that fire at enemies as the ship drops off troops. This cannon fires fast-moving, powerful rockets that track their targets. Harvesters will linger on the battlefield to provide supporting fire to cover the troops they deploy.[3]

Harvesters typically deploy up to three waves of Cabal troops, including Centurions, Legionaries, and Psions. Sometimes they can deploy Colossi.

The Red Legion employs a more advanced variant of the Harvester.
