Transmat is a type of matter-transport technology used by forces of the City including the Guardians. Ghosts can transmat Guardians out of their ships. It can be used to transport objects via an Orbital Grid. During the initial war with the Vex on Mars, Guardians were forced to gain access to the grid by assaulting a Cabal bunker locking transmission.[1]
