Armor will be featured in Destiny, with a wide assortment. Each type of armor will have their own bonuses and abilities that are meant to be synergistic with the player's focus and weapons. Destiny will feature class-specific armor as well as general armor.[1]
There are five different pieces of armor: Helmet, Gauntlets, Chest Armor, Leg Armor, and Class Armor. The last slot, class armor, is unique to each class; Hunters get cloaks, Warlocks get bonds, and Titans get Marks. [2] colors (including dyes) and decals are/will be available.[3]
Rarity of armor is color coordinated into four tiers: Basic (white), Uncommon (green), Legendary (purple), and Exotic (gold).[1]
