The Haunted Nephilim is a three player matchmaking activity that was introduced in TBA during its Festival of the Lost to replace Haunted Sectors. The Haunted Nephilim is an activity in which Guardians must investigate the Nephilim, which has been overtaken by both Nightmares and Headless Ones, at the behest of Zâtrox, the Necromancer.
Structure
The Haunted Nephilim functions similarly to the Haunted Forest in which players must complete "sectors" of the Nephilim by clearing out the room of high priority Nightmares to progress to the next room. After completing seven sectors, players will be teleported to a boss room in which they must face a powerful Nightmare enemy. In between sectors, invincible Headless Ones wielding Hive Axes will charge at players and it is advised to ignore them and move away from their line of sight.
