Pariah is a common auto rifle in Destiny 2. It can be obtained from a chest in the story mission Spark, or through engrams dropped by enemies at low levels.

Real life counterpart

This rifle as well as it’s rare and legendary variants are clearly based of of the AK series of rifles, the barrel and gas block profiles are near identical, it also features a PSL / SVD dragonouv style stock, and it also has the dust cover and optic mounting system of an AK-M.
