- — In-game quote
Dumuzod is a Taken Knight encountered in The Founts by a player using their Charged Agonarch Rune.
Gameplay[edit]
Dumuzod is the boss of a Public Event triggered by the player. He is assisted by the seven Taken Majors the player had killed throughout the week to charge their Rune, and all seven must be killed before he will spawn. Killing him rewards a Calcified Fragment from the loot chest which appears in the pool, a Moldering Shard, some Rare gear, Motes of Light and Crota's Bane Reputation.
Trivia[edit]
- Dumuzod sounds very much similar to "Dumuzid", which is a Mesopotamian god who is connected to shepherds.
