Imperative is a Legendary Scout Rifle added during Season of the Undying. It could be acquired as seasonal gear from Vex Invasion world events on the Moon, or by completing runs of Vex Offensive. It was also reprised during Season of the Wish alongside with the other Undying-themed weapons in seasonal activities like Riven's Lair and The Coil, in addition to being reward loot in the "Starcrossed" Exotic Mission.
