"Sol shall feel the ever lingering power of Corruption."
— Shin'ra, the Sorrow-Maker

Corruption's Insurgence was a conflict between the Vanguard, the Hive brood of the Weavers of Sorrow, the Fallen's House of Dusk and the Vex's Sol Divisive. Hive forces of the Weavers have revealed themselves in Sol and have unleashed a dark and ancient power, Corruption.
