Ornaments are used to alter the appearances of certain weapons and armor sets. Weapon and Armor Ornaments are activated differently. Weapon Ornaments were originally sold by Xûr, Agent of the Nine for 25 Silver Dust each, and required 1 additional Silver Dust to activate. Armor Ornaments were built into pieces of certain armor sets, and required 1 set-specific token and 5 Silver Dust to activate. Tess Everis, an Awoken merchant in the Tower, has dealt with ornaments since then in both Destiny and Destiny 2. With the help of her uncle, the Guardian and Hidden Agent Fenchurch Everis, she has since started selling them via her latest venture, the Eververse Trading Company.
