:I believe that any Taken with sufficient intelligence remaining can effectively assume control of the Taken, now that Oryx is gone. Why else would [[Malok, Pride of Oryx]] and [[Alak-Hul, the Darkblade]] pose such a significant threat to the Guardians? Though I believe only this is restricted to Taken [[Hive]] of sufficient age and power, otherwise one of those Zealots would be a threat also. The [[Cabal]] Taken would surely fit this role well, since they're the most organized militaries in the solar system.
