Imperial Opti are a distinct type of Cabal Psions who serve under Empress Caiatl in the Imperial Cabal. They assist the Guardians in the war against Savathûn's Lucent Brood by transporting them to the Mindscape, in order to do battle with Hive Lightbearers and detain them for psychic analysis.
Overview
Imperial Opti share their appearance with that of Ixel, the Far-Reaching; they are tall Psions that adorn bulky, dark-grey armor with gold markings and Caiatl's sigil emblazoned on their chest piece, and black capes with a large, gold symbol on it, with blue areas near the end. They arm themselves with a rifle-sized variant of the Cabal Slug Launcher, which has been seen to be utilized by other, powerful Psions in the past.
