Ether Seeds are a type of consumable item in Destiny.
Overview[edit]
Ether Seeds temporarily boost the Glimmer gained from killing Fallen units over a period of ten minutes. They are dropped by Major or Ultra Fallen enemies. Player Guardians can carry multiple batches of Ether Seeds but only one can be used at a time every ten minutes.
In the Destiny Alpha and development prior, the original model used for the icon was a luminescent turquoise-coloured tube that presumably had a small amount of ether preserved in it.
