- "The Shock Pistol is a simple but deadly weapon, and a mainstay of the Fallen arsenal. Primarily utilized by the lower ranking members of a given Fallen crew, Shock Pistols discharge bolts of Arc energy."
- — Grimoire description[1]
Shock Pistols are Fallen weapons used in battle by Dregs of all stripes. These weapons are mostly paired with a Shock Dagger. Other Fallen are said to keep Shock Pistols as back up weapons, though this is not seen in gameplay.
Gameplay[edit]
The Shock Pistols are Arc weapons with a middling fire rate and travel speed. They are the main weapons of Dregs. These guns are weak and short ranged, requiring their wielders to stay at close ranges to their foes, and to fight in large numbers to be effective threats.
The Devil Splicers' SIVA infused variant fires in a more erratic trajectory and inflicts Solar damage.
Trivia[edit]
- Guardians can use a wieldable version of the Shock Pistol, the Sidearm Dreg's Promise.
