Ogres Ascendant are powerful Taken Ogres that have been encountered throughout Destiny 2 from Season of the Drifter onwards.
Gameplay[edit]
An Ogre Ascendant was first encountered in The Reckoning. They are found in the Bridge of Folly encounter on Tiers 2 & 3, where they attempt to stall the Guardian challengers from crossing.[1]
An Ogre Ascendant would be encountered by the the Guardian while they were searching for Eris Morn within the Cradle on Io following the arrival of the Black Fleet.[2]
Another Ogre Ascendant would be encountered in the Dreaming City carrying an Offering to the Oracle Engine that the Guardian needed to find Archie.[3]
Within the Pale Heart, two Ogre Ascendants could be found. A trio of them attempted to battle the Guardian alongside a horde of Taken after the Traveler gifted them with a new Super ability and another encountered in The Blooming.[4][5]
Aboard the Dreadnaught, an Ogre Ascendant belonging to the Dire Taken can be found in the Trenchway. A trio of torches that have a chance of spawning near the entrance to the doorway to Oryx's arena in Regicide can be lit to summon it.[6]
