Ogres Ascendant are powerful Taken Ogres that have been encountered throughout Destiny 2 from Season of the Drifter onwards.

Gameplay

An Ogre Ascendant was first encountered in The Reckoning. They are found in the Bridge of Folly encounter on Tiers 2 & 3, where they attempt to stall the Guardian challengers from crossing.

An Ogre Ascendant would be encountered by the the Guardian while they were searching for Eris Morn within the Cradle on Io following the arrival of the Black Fleet.

Another Ogre Ascendant would be encountered in the Dreaming City carrying an Offering to the Oracle Engine that the Guardian needed to find Archie.

Within the Pale Heart, two Ogre Ascendants could be found. A trio of them attempted to battle the Guardian alongside a horde of Taken after the Traveler gifted them with a new Super ability and another encountered in The Blooming.

Aboard the Dreadnaught, an Ogre Ascendant belonging to the Dire Taken can be found in the Trenchway. A trio of torches that have a chance of spawning near the entrance to the doorway to Oryx's arena in Regicide can be lit to summon it.
