Icon of Excess: Difference between revisions

From Destinypedia, the Destiny wiki

(Removing stub because I don't know what else could be added. It's a crystal that serves as a dungeon mechanic. What essay could be written about Hive plates in King's Fall?)

An Icon of Excess

The Icons of Excess are white quartz-like crystals that appear in the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon and serve as one of the main mechanics of the dungeon.

Gameplay[edit]

In Grasp of Avarice, the Icon of Excess appears in every major encounter where it procedurally removes the "Burdened by Riches" debuff two stacks at a time each second. The Icons have four main stages, each more prominent than the last, culminating in the final one where the now tall set of crystals radiate a bright white mist for a given time before shattering and returning to their original state.
