The Harvester is a troop carrier that is used by the Cabal. The Red Legion uses more advanced Harvester variants known as Threshers.

Unlike Skiffs, Ketches and Tombships, Harvesters cannot teleport; to make up for this they can move at extremely fast speeds as they drop down from low orbit to the surface of planets in a couple of seconds. It is accompanied by a boom with which they kick up dust storms and maneuver through ruined cities. They are armed with a single Solar cannon on the nose that fire at enemies as the ship drops off troops. This cannon fires fast-moving, powerful rockets that track their targets. Harvesters will linger on the battlefield to provide supporting fire to cover the troops they deploy.[2]

Harvesters typically deploy up to three waves of Cabal troops, including Centurions, Legionaries, and Psions. Sometimes they can deploy Colossi.

The Red Legion employ a more advanced variant of the Harvester that is capable of FTL travel like Guardian Jumpships, as demonstrated by Thumos, the Unbroken's personal ship stolen by the Guardian to reach the Almighty.[3] These ships would also be used by Calus' Loyalists, the Shadow Legion and the Imperial Cabal.
