Xûr's Bombtenders are Cabal Incendiors that compete in the Dares of Eternity.[1]
Gameplay[edit]
The Bombtenders appear in the Valley and in the Vault, if the Cabal are selected as foes. They look like normal Major Incendiors, but are highlighted by a glow over their whole body. In both encounters, they will spawn from doors in the back of the arena, and walk to a more visible position, where they will begin fighting the Guardians. Killing a Bombtender makes it drop a Dare Core, which when thrown will call in a laser from above. This laser is the only thing that can break the shield of a Commander of Eternity, and thus progress the encounter. They also appear when fighting the Goliath Tank Paraversal Challenger, though their Cores aren't essential to destroying it.
