Trivia[edit]

  • A popular tactic is that of "Rez Sniping" in which players use a higher powered sniper to break through the momentary overshield granted by being revived and immediately kill the player. While this tactic still exists today, it was particularly powerful owing to Destiny 1's slower pace and modified rules within pvp. This exotic was commonly used to counteract this strategy due to its much faster revive timer and being able to set up "pushing." Players would slide as they revived a fallen teammate in order to slightly push the revived player, momentarily making it more difficult for the rez sniping enemy to land a headshot.
