A theory I thought about for a long time is "What if why Golgoroth looks so unique is that maybe he was mutated by Radiolaria?" Think about it. When his chest opens up so he can focus down a player during damage phase, his chest has a weird white goo in it that no other Hive much less Ogre has been depicted with and further evidence is that the Vex did invade Oryx's ascendant realm to a couple millennia and most likely they Vexed a couple things during their "stay". This would explain some of the more... :That is actually a very good possibility. However, we must also remember that Oryx embedded a Tablet of Ruin within Golgoroth and in the arena we have to use Corrupted Light to destroy him, so it is likely he's been distilling and refining Light for Oryx's usage. -- 12:32, 7 December 2017 (EST) | :That is actually a very good possibility. :::Also, we must account for the fact that had the Hive been mutated by Radiolaria, they would behave completely differently. A Vex's Radiolaria, just live a Hive's Worm, are what drive their behavior and functions: worms get stronger the more the Hive kills, while the radiolaria sustains the Vex as they execute their programming. However, unlike the radiolaria, Worms can have an adverse biological relationship on their host: if a Hive doesn't kill, then their Worm weakens them, and if radiolaria truly did cause Hive to mutate, then they wouldn't have the problem of having to conquer and kill just to sustain their lives. *Who knows Primus. Asher Mir is a good example of Radiolaria not killing someone. Perhaps depending on the species/size of the creature depends on how or when it dies or becomes Vex like how Kabr did and maybe the Tablets of Ruin is what's keeping him and his worm alive along with his worm and maybe his worm mutated Golgoroth or itself to defend against the invading Milk and because of that, Golgoroth suffered the outcome. All these points of evidence and counterarguments cause a great theory debate that will never be solved so it's up to us, the fans, to put the pieces together and see which ones make blurs and which ones make a picture scattered through time itself. *I have a theory that Golgoroth may have been taken, then brought back as Hive by Oryx's power with a little help from the Worm God Eir, but only having new dangerous abilities in order to guard the Tablets of Ruin. --Sparta94 (talk) 15:16, 5 April 2019 (EST) |

Abilities[edit]
I just have a question for one of Golgoroth's abilities for I am not sure what it is but, does anyone know what "Soulsiphon Plinth" ability does and how can player's counter it?--CNBA3 (talk) 12:58, 28 November 2015 (EST)
The ability wipes the team if collectively your team members die six times and there is no way to counter it once it happens. Just don't die.--Virgil the Ghost (Talk) 11:16, 5 December 2017 (EST)
Vexed?[edit]
A theory I thought about for a long time is "What if why Golgoroth looks so unique is that maybe he was mutated by Radiolaria?" Think about it. When his chest opens up so he can focus down a player during damage phase, his chest has a weird white goo in it that no other Hive much less Ogre has been depicted with and further evidence is that the Vex did invade Oryx's ascendant realm to a couple millennia and most likely they Vexed a couple things during their "stay". This would explain some of the more... Unique... enemies in the King's Fall Raid such as Adepts and the aforementioned Golgoroth's unique appearance and the liquid in his chest. --Virgil the Ghost (talk) 10:13, 7 December 2017 (EST)
- That is actually a very good possibility. However, we must also remember that Oryx embedded a Tablet of Ruin within Golgoroth and in the arena we have to use Corrupted Light to destroy him, so it is likely he's been distilling and refining Light for Oryx's usage. --Δαντε τηε Γηοστ Ι ωονδερ ιφ Ικορα γιϝες ηυγς το Γηοστσ. - So what you're saying is that Oryx is using Golgoroth as like a blender? "Muck around with the Light until it's able to be used by me." Perhaps. But frankly, this matter won't be solved. Bungie just shoved Golgoroth into the raid and probably forgot all about him. But good counterargument Dante! --Virgil the Ghost (Talk) 10:42, 7 December 2017 (EST)
- Also, we must account for the fact that had the Hive been mutated by Radiolaria, they would behave completely differently. But going by the Deep and the Tablet of Ruin embedded in Golgoroth...this just isn't the case. Primus Draug'oth Can I help you? • No, you do it. 14:17, 7 December 2017 (EST)
- Who knows Primus.
