According to the Books of Slugger, in the ancient past, the people who would eventually become the Zorpalods were scattered across many nations, including the two greatest of Sluggeria: Pukshitia and Parsoland[1]. A devastating war between these nations led to the destruction of countless cities and the downfall of many great nations, including Balihou, which was decimated by the deadly fomonuclear weapons developed unwittingly during the age of the Light from Beyond by a Sluggerian scientist named Jhaun Bungie.
In the aftermath of Balihou's destruction, a young survivor named Zorpal discovered a new, overwhelming power he called "The way of the Slugger." Using this strength, Zorpal forced a ceasefire.
