The Valence is a massive aurora of Light and Darkness that is venting from the Traveler into space above Earth after the Witness' defeat in the Pale Heart.
Overview[edit]
After the defeat of The Witness, an aurora of Light and Darkness began pouring out from The Traveler over Earth, with the Coalition designating a no-fly zone within 100 kilometers in order to ensure no incidents occur. Sometime following the Valence's creation, several Echoes of The Witness' memories and power were launched from the Traveler, with one of them falling under the possession of Maya Sundaresh, another falling under the possession of Fikrul.
