The Astrodemons are a race of enemies introduced in Destiny 3.
Overview[edit]
As previously attested by the awoken when describing the Aphelion, a sect of Astrodemon Voyagers, Astrodemons are a deadly enemy race that uses radiation to hunt it's prey. This is because Astrodemons hold complete control over the electromagnetic spectrum. They are able to cause a poison effect and reduce healing effectiveness on Guardians with gamma radiation. They use non-solar heat attacks with infrared radiation to ignite Guardians. They also tend to glow blue a result of Cherenkov Radiation and as an intimidation tactic by manipulating the visible light spectrum.
History[edit]
The Astrodemons hold a similar history to that of the Zorpalods. They were, however, not as successful in their evacuation, as only a quarter of their population survived. They hold the same goals as their allies, in their desire to rid the Universe of paracausal life.[1]
