Trivia[edit]
- This adventure chronologically precedes Savathûn's Song and follows on from the first mission on Titan in which the Hive Prince Ubara is slain by the Guardian, with all three events likely being interrelated.
- There are few named princes among the Hive, and consequently each Prince is of high rank, with other examples being Crota, the son of Oryx; Alak-Hul, the adoptive son of Oryx and Malok, Pride of Oryx, a son of Savathun, both of whom tried but failed to become a prince after Oryx's death; as well as the Swarm Princes and their lord and master Sardon, Fist of Crota. Given the significance of his rank, if Ubara survived his death by having an Ascendant Realm, then it would have been possible to summon him back in exactly the same manner as Crota was to be returned to life during the Wakening in Destiny 1.
- If this were the case it would explain the elaborated string of summoning rituals defeated during Siren Song as the crystal at the end of the adventure may be alike to the crystal which contained Crota's soul and was being used to return him to life, and have been prepared in order to resurrect Prince Ubara, though this is prevented by the player's actions to interrupt the rituals, destroy the shrines, and the steal the crystal. With the crystral stolen, if Ubara is in the Ascendant Realm and that was indeed his soul crystal, then he may be trapped there indefinitely.
- If Prince Ubara was a son of Savathun then her reaction, both emotional and pragmatic due to the Ubara's death and the severance of her son's tithe, would be similar to Oryx's upon the death of Crota, and she would be forced to respond, even personally. This may be the motive for Savathun's attempted summoning in Savathûn's Song.
- As a reward for completing the adventure, the player receives Songbreaker Grips, Gauntlet's or Gloves depending on their class, identifying what happened to the crystal after Holliday got a hold of it:
- "They're powered by that Hive rock you got me! Sloane gave me permission once I explained the voltmeter readings." —Amanda Holliday
- The Hive Crystal is situated underneath a structure identical to the one that housed the CPU taken by the player earlier during the mission Utopia. Whether this is a significant detail regarding the summoning ritual is unknown, and it more likely is simply an indicator of the room's former purpose.
