The Taikonaut is an Exotic Titan Helmet introduced in The Taken King.[1]
Overview
The Taikonaut grants the wearer the Exotic perk "Air Traffic Control", giving all Rocket Launchers tracking, active Radar while zooming in with all Heavy Weapons, and increased Heavy Ammo drops. The helm can be correctly used with all three Titan specs.
Trivia
- The Taikonaut is modeled after modern astronaut helmets.
- The icon used for "Air Traffic Control" is the symbol for the Aeronautics of China.
- A single Taikonaut helmet can be seen in the Cryptarch vaults during the mission Zero Hour in Destiny 2. It cannot be interacted with, however.
