The Fissure Ogre is a type of Hive Ogre encountered around the Moon and in the Cosmodrome.
Gameplay[edit]
A Fissure Ogre used to appear on the bridge leading deeper into the Scarlet Keep during the omonimous Strike. It will try to stop the fireteam alongside hordes lesser Hive, but can be cut down though massive firepower. During Nightfalls, it will become an Unstoppable Ogre.[1]
Fissure Ogres can also be encountered as High-Value Targets, roaming around the Hellmouth. Like most such enemies, the Fissure Ogre will march upon a set path, attacking foes it encounters, and leave after a while, or drop a chest containing World Drop level Loot. Unlike other High Value Targets, it will always appear with an escort, consisting of two Revenant Ogres.[2]
Fissure Ogres using the Savathûn's Brood design can be encountered in the Cosmodrome's Skywatch when Enemies move against each other. They act as normal Majors, fighting all foes and retreating if still alive when the event ends.
