The Severing of the Nightmares, also known as Operation Midas, was an operation conducted by Coalition forces, mainly the Vanguard and Imperial Cabal, to deal with the emerging threat Calus's ship - now infested with Egregore and haunted by Nightmares - the Leviathan now brought in his attempt to form a psychic connection to the Lunar Pyramid and become a Disciple of the Witness.
