Minotaurs are a type of Vex. They are large, broad-shouldered, heavy infantry machines that glare out from three glowing eyes.[1] As protectors of various Vex portals and sectors, the Minotaurs stand out among their troops, leading the attack. [2] They are one of the deadliest Vex troops Guardians will ever encounter due to their explosive weaponry, durability, lack of a weak spot, fast teleportation, and aggression. Although shooting an Minotaur's head off will disable its teleportation ability as well as its shield, it will only become even more dangerous. They will go berserk and start firing their Torch Hammers in rapid succession. In this state, they can punch through a Guardian's shield in seconds.
