The Fallen Shield is a large, circular energy barrier located in the Sunken Lair within the Cosmodrome. It was constructed by the a crew of Fallen pirates—led by Captain Avarokk, the Covetous—in order to block off the entrance to Wilhelm's Horde. It serves as part of the penultimate encounter of the Grasp of Avarice Dungeon.[1]
