The Pirate Ketch is a class of Fallen Ketches utilized by Eramis's various pirate crews. It serves as part of the Ketchcrash activity in Season of Plunder,[1] in which players must invade the Ketch and kill their respective captains.[2]

Overview

Although the Pirate Ketches possess most of the features of a regular Fallen vessel—such as the long and pointed nose, the large engine on its left side and the wing on the right—it has been heavily modified from its original design. The ship is covered in light purple and grey colors and has been outfitted with numerous sails with the pirate's crest on the top and bottom. The Ketch itself possesses four main rooms, the Captain's Quarters from which the pirate captain commands the ship, the Ether Storage which holds the Ketch's entire Ether supply, the Treasure Hoard which holds all of the current captain's plundered treasure which is kept under constant eye by a Security Optic and the Maintenance Bay from which the pirate crew holds their Walkers and various weapons.

Trivia

  • Much like the Spider's Ketch, the design of the Pirate Ketch is heavily inspired by the appearance of stereotypical pirate ships.
