Destiny, as a whole, is a franchise comprised of video-game releases, comics, books, a trading card series, and merchandise based on elements of the universe constructed and established primarily by the first game of the series. Destiny was developed and produced by Bungie, famous for their prior video-game series Halo, alongside Vicarious Visions and High Moon Studios, with Activision being a former producer and publisher.
