Kotrik, also known as the Bloodcrafter of Kirito and the Kell of Shadows, is the Kell to the Fallen House of Shadows and one of the highest-ranking and most trusted lieutenants of the dark Shadowkeeper Army.
A skilled wielder of the Stolen Thunderlord and Darkness, he is an insane Leader and a loyal Fanatical warrior who rallied the Fallen to launch an invasion on The Last City in the hopes of rebuilding their civilization with the Darkness. Originally an Archon of the House of Devils, he would go on to become a powerful foe who will stop at nothing to help achieve Kirito and Asuna's goal of destruction.
Prior to the Second Collapse, he was hired by Kirito and Asuna's eldest son Tatsuyi Kirigaya, Tyranaks, and the other members of the Shadow Collective to assassinate Rudolph McAlister, one of the Speedwagon Foundation agents hired by Robert E. O. Speedwagon to investigate the sudden death of Ashe-5.
He is the supporting antagonist of the Paradox expansion.
