Overload Taken Hobgoblins are former Vex defense and construction proxies taken and granted heightened combat efficiency by the Darkness.
Gameplay
Like their minor counterpart, the Overload Taken Hobgoblin will often stray further from the carnage and provide long distance support for their allies and unleashes a barrage of Vengeance Bolts at the enemy who first damaged them. However, thanks to the heightened ability regeneration, the Taken Hobgoblin will continuously conjure a bunch of these barrages that, not only target the Hobgoblin's adversary, but also the enemies around them. To mitigate the threat of the Overload Taken Hobgoblin, the player(s) should utilize Anti-Overload rounds from the Seasonal Artifact to stagger the Hobgoblin and disable their ability and health regeneration.
Trivia
- A variant of the Overload Taken Hobgoblin, Savathûn's Marionette, can be found patrolling The Rupture, often seen escorting a Taken Disruptor Ogre.
