- "Long before the last of the Iron Lords descended into the Plaguelands, this peak was the domain of one of their own, Lord Felwinter."
- — Tyra Karn[1]
Felwinters Perfected is a location near the Cosmodrome, overlooking the Plaguelands. At its summit lies Vostok Observatory and the Iron Temple, the ancient stronghold of the Iron Lords. The mountain is named after Felwinter, who ruled it as a Warlord for a time before he joined the Iron Lords and allowed them to build their headquarters there.[2][3]
Since the fall of the original Iron Lords, Lord Saladin locked away the Iron Temple and kept knowledge of the temple and the mountain to himself. Only after an attack from a resurgent House of Devils did Saladin return with the Guardians in tow. With the beginning of the SIVA Crisis, Felwinter Peak became the base of operations for Lord Saladin and the new generation of Iron Lords against the SIVA-augmented Devil Splicers.[4]
During the Red War, Guardian forces used the mountain as a Crucible site.
